We believe in using technology to create a meaningful impact.

Australia’s patient transport organisations provide a vital link between communities and life-saving medical care. They’re an essential part of our healthcare system, and yet, we find their operations are often held together by outdated IT, spreadsheets, whiteboards and paper.

At AMBFlight, we believe in the power of technology to simplify the complex. To bring together multiple strands of data and create a single, clear picture. To instantly, and simultaneously, communicate a vast amount of information to people across completely dispersed geographical locations.

Our mission is to use the power of technology to revolutionise the way patient transport organisations deliver essential healthcare to the Australian community — to improve service delivery, staff safety and patient outcomes.

The AMBFlight story.

AMBFlight started its life as a custom software solution for Ambulance Victoria back in 2005. Working with Ambulance Victoria to modernise their operations gave our team an appreciation for the hard work, diligence and utter devotion the staff have to patient care.

This initial project sparked a desire to use technology to create a meaningful impact on our communities and the world. And so, AMBFlight expanded beyond Ambulance Victoria (who we continue to work with to this day), evolving to become a software solution for multiple clients, right across Australia.

Our interest and enthusiasm for what AMBFlight can achieve continues to grow along with our aspiration to innovate and push the technology beyond its boundaries. The platform has evolved from a single bespoke solution to a series of highly adaptable modules, each one designed to improve communication, risk management and situational awareness.

We continue to work with clients to concoct ideas and develop new features that make the job easier for everyone involved. It’s our enduring purpose, and our life’s work, to support their critical role in our communities (and we wouldn’t have it any other way).
